The *Eastern happy* is a species of Hap Endemic to Lake Malawi and it's tributaries. What makes this hap unique Is it's extreme resemblance to the Haplochromine of lake Victoria. This *Throwback* appearance is believed to be closer in resemblance to what the original Haplochromines of lake malawi looked like. With a beautiful green hue over some reds, this fish also has the feisty attitude of many Victorian haps as well.
