LETHRINOPS RED CAP "CHIRWA" F1 3" MALE

One of the most stunning fish to come out of lake malawi and certainly in the lethrinops genus.

Males have a greenish body with red on their forehead and the upper front portion of their body. Females lack the red top. These fish are shy. Single males sometimes are slow to show full color and may not show full color (Blaze on Head) until around 4" or more These fish are more similar to Peacock Cichlids than Haplochromis fish in many ways.
