What It Treats – Flukes (Monogeneans), and gastrointestinal parasites (worms), Camallanus, etc. Particularly useful to treat strains of flukes & intestinal worms

How To Treat

This is a complete treatment kit, and includes powdered gel food to mix in the meds.

  • 1.8gr is for 3 separate treatment's for up to approx 30/40 gallon medium stocked tank.
  • 4.5gr is for 3 separate treatment's for up larger fish, larger tanks or heavily stocked tanks.

There is enough PER KIT for 3 treatments

Instructions fish treatment :

Step 1 - Prep the Panacur

  1. 1.      Divide the Panacur into 3 even separate piles (about 0 .6gr each) on a piece of paper.
  2. 2.      You will need 1 pile for 1 treatment. (you can put the other 2 away for now).
  3. 3.      Grind the powder finer if you can. Even the back of a spoon pressed against med on the the paper and grind.

Step 2 - Panacur to water

  1. 1.      Using the spare 1.5/2.0 oz cup and lid
  2. 2.      Pour in 1  pile of the Panacur add 1 (5mL or 1 Teaspoon) of warm water cap and shake to mix.

Step 3 - Prep the food & mix in the Panacur

  1. 1.      Boil some water
  2. 2.      In the largest spare deli cup (3-4oz) put 1/3 of the powdered food approx 3/4 tablespoon.
  3. 3.      Add 30ml (2 tablespoons) of hot boiled water mix the food then while it is still warm and fluid pour the Pancur  mixture from step 2 and mix.
  4. 4.      Put in fridge to cool and set up.
  5. 5.      Refrigerate any leftovers for upto  7 days.

Step 4 - Feed and vaccum

  1. 1.      Divide the gelled food  into 2, 3 or 4 parts pending tank size and fish quantity
  2. 2.      You can feed this mix 1 or 2 times per day. Not recommend to exceed 2 feedings per day with medicated food.
  3. 3.      Clean the aquarium and remove the debris since fenbendazole will not target the larvae in the dead worms. The free-living larvae can also survive for three weeks without a host.

Repeat again after the steps again in 2 weeks and again if needed.

For treating intestinal worms (white stringy feces), you can dose fenbendazole into a QT at 2 mg/L (7.6 mg/gallon) once/week for 3 weeks. However, it is probably best to use the above kit and add the medication to food so it passes through the gastrointestinal tract where the worms live. Best used in a QT tank. Some invertebrates may not tolerate meds well. Full water changes after 1st treatment is recommended.

Fenbendazole (dewormer) kills parasites and worms but not eggs or larvae, Levamisole only stuns them
