POMPOM CRAB (ptychognathus barbatus)

The Pom Pom Crab (PTYCHOGNATHUS BARBATUS) is a fully aquatic freshwater crab! Perfect for nano tanks! They are peaceful, super active scavengers, omnivores, that will eat algae and keep you entertained! They can take a wide range of temperature from mid 60s and up to 79 degrees and neutral ph. These are a small .5 – 1.0 inch crab. Diet: Omnivorous. High-quality sinking flakes and pellets, plants/algae, freeze-dried or frozen meaty foods will be readily accepted. Cuttlebone should be added to the aquarium to supplement calcium, which will aid in exoskeleton production.  Temperament: Can be placed with shrimp similar sized, as well as larger fish
